What trends are driving the HR industry?

In this blog post, we take a look back at the past year in order to classify relevant topics from our point of view.

HR trends 2022 - what do you think they are? In this blog post, we take a look back at the past year in order to classify relevant topics from our point of view. Because 2021 was a groundbreaking year for the HR industry. For example, it showed us how alternative work models like home office and hybrid models are shaping the future of HR and recruiting. Performance recruiting, AI recruiting and data protection are also becoming increasingly important.

Automation

Automating standard recruiting processes opens up the opportunity for employees in HR departments to focus their work on core tasks that otherwise often get short shrift. The advantages are obvious: employees save time and, above all, money, because they do not have to invest their resources in repeating routine tasks. Particularly in today's world, where digitization and the lack of qualified staff are becoming increasingly widespread, the automation of core processes optimizes the workflow - and incidentally creates space for supporting topics such as greater employee development.

AI Recruiting

Analyzing data from HR and other areas of a company based on algorithms to make staffing decisions is becoming increasingly important - and also more common. In fact, data-driven decisions in recruiting are already a part of many executives' daily work. The announced goals: Optimizing HR processes as well as minimizing HR administration costs. The growth potential of smart matching technology is huge.

Data protection

Data protection is a topic that concerns everyone and even almost regardless of the context. The new General Data Protection Regulation (DGSVO) has greatly raised awareness of the topic - and the Corona pandemic has done the rest. In combination with alternative work models, the sensitive, responsible and secure handling of personal and company data is also becoming increasingly important because cybercrime has increased enormously at the same time. Digital work tools that support the implementation of DGSVO-compliant recruiting processes and thus ensure sustainable data protection are essential in view of this background.

Performance Recruiting

Making success in recruiting measurable and using key performance indicators to further optimize results - especially in terms of the shortage of qualified personnel, performance recruiting offers HR specialists a major advantage. One practical aspect of this approach is that female candidates are not approached individually, but in a bundle. By addressing an entire target group collectively, more potential candidates can be reached with a single campaign - and precisely those who are best suited to the vacant position. By the way, this approach is also the best way to cover diversity and inclusion, because it is also becoming increasingly important for employers to combine as many different skills as possible in the workplace.

Sustainability and biodiversity

These two topics are becoming more and more anchored, not only in society, but also in business. So it is obvious that more and more companies are trying to include sustainability and biodiversity in their corporate philosophy - to the essential point that these aspects become fundamental components of corporate decision-making in the near future. Technologies such as Big Data and other digital possibilities can support this. Regardless, it is recommended for HR to do its part in initiatives that promote innovation as well as increasing biodiversity and, of course, reducing carbon emissions as much as possible. Digital tools are a good start to achieve these goals.

Our personal conclusion.

All these new possibilities around automation, digitization and artificial intelligence are primarily simplifying the simplest but often most time-consuming processes in recruiting. We at audeoSoft have always worked with an eye on the future - and respond to tangible HR trends with intelligent functions within our smart software staffitpro. In this way, we offer HR professionals various practical, supportive tools that help save an enormous amount of time and money. Of course, data protection and security always come first. By the way, we also keep an eye on our climate - for example, as part of our latest sustainability campaign. The goal is to neutralize audeoSoft's carbon footprint. And we are going one step further, by giving more back, as it were. For this purpose, we will participate in various climate actions in the future. In some activities, our customers and partners will also be involved. We are looking forward to it!
